Designed to slot seamlessly into the SD5 frame, the Quantum 5 combines 37 faders and three 15-inch full-color TFT touchscreens, offering state-of-the-art Quantum processing, connectivity, and performance for both new and existing hardware.

Quantum Power of Three

Continuing the Quantum tradition, the Quantum 5 harnesses the power of three large-scale FPGAs working together. Equipped with seventh-generation FPGA devices, the Quantum 5 delivers extraordinary audio processing capacity with up to 2,000 channels transported across 458 processing paths at 96kHz. GTX ports operating at 6.6GHz and optimized two-wire connections ensure peak data speeds, making it a scalable, future-proof solution for ambitious productions.

Inside the Quantum 5 Engine

The Quantum 5 boasts over 450 processing paths at 96kHz, including:

• 288 configurable channels with up to 256 input channels and 128 busses

• A 36 x 36 matrix for advanced routing

• Four redundant or eight individual MADI ports and two DMI slots for a wide range of connectivity options, including AoIP

• Built-in Waves port and up to two Optocore loops for expanded functionality
